A heart-warming note of thanks has come in from Roy Fairweather of Wigan. Sadly, his wife Susan has been seriously ill for some time, but when they eventually made it to Spain, the staff of Seasons resort did all they could to make it a truly memorable trip. Everyone at Seasons and the newsletter joins together to send Ray and Susan our very best wishes and we hope they enjoy spending their winnings!

BRUNSTON CASTLE WELCOMES ‘THE OPEN’ TROPHY

The Claret Jug, which has been presented annually since 1873 to the winner of the British Open Golf Championship, was on show at Brunston Castle Golf Course before being taken five miles to Turnberry for the tournament, which was held from 16th-19th July.

It was great to hear how much Andrew Hutchinson and his party of five had enjoyed themselves at Club Tahiti a few weeks ago, thanks to his parent’s membership of Seasons.

Yet another long term fan of Seasons’ Lanzarote resort is Dorothy Gladwin of Bradford on Avon, who along with her husband Jim and her Mum Rachael, obviously enjoyed themselves on their recent holiday.

ADVENTURE AT FOREST HILLS

It was good to hear that, despite being in a wheelchair, Jean Jones of Exmouth in Devon was able to enjoy a truly memorable holiday with her husband David. Firstly, this was thanks to travelling by sea rather than air and secondly? You guessed it – the outstanding service they received from Seasons resort staff!

BEWARE UNSOLICITED CALLS

We are grateful to one of our members for alerting us to the fact that they recently received a suspicious sounding call.

We understand that a company called Timeshare Owners Register is making unsolicited calls to some of Seasons members, claiming they can recover cash. Please do not fall for any sales pitch. If they claim that your details are on their register because you own timeshare, do not accept this explanation as no such register exists. Please be sure to ask them how they really obtained your details, should you be unlucky enough to receive a call or a letter. You can find an article on this subject on www.gotimeshare.org

CONSUMER ALERT

The industry trade body for the vacation ownership industry, RDO (Resort Development Organisation), is advising consumers who have purchased a membership from the Incentive Leisure Group (UK) to check with their local Trading Standards office or their solicitor to establish whether they have been defrauded.

Don't forget to register with myseasonsholidays.com to search for ideas and inspiration at every Seasons resort.

The site has a large number of ‘Resort Knowledge Base’ articles all about events, days out, activities, attractions, shopping, beaches and kids’ stuff close to each Seasons resort, providing you with an infinite resource of information to help plan and get the most from your holidays.
