Be sure to book early to avoid disappointment as our short breaks prove to be very popular especially during school holidays. Any of our resorts can be used for a short break – it all depends on how far you would be travelling to reach us.
If visiting Clowance Estate, as well as delighting in the onsite facilities such as swimming pool and beauty suite, we highly recommend both the Eden Project and the Tate St Ives are on your to do list. If family is your main priority visit both Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium to make sure the kids have a ‘whale’ of a time!
Brunston Castle, located in Scotland is a great destination for culture, scenic walks and ultimate relaxation. Take a dip in the onsite heated swimming pool or try your luck on the 9 hole putting green. The resort is in close proximity to the Ayr Gaiety Theatre, which has been known to show performances such as smash hit ‘Hairspray’.

Knocktopher Abbey is perfect for a short break with its distinctive Abbey accommodation and medieval location. This Irish location is perfect to explore the surrounding areas of Kilkenny County and City. We highly recommend you take a tour of Waterford Crystal and pick up a souvenir from your break away. Kells Priory, one of Ireland's largest monumental buildings is also in close proximity to the Abbey – a great spot for a holiday photograph!
If you fancy taking a short break to Wales, Laugharne Park is the perfect resort for you. Laugharne is a great location for families with its children’s play area and on site tennis courts. Take a trip to either Folly Farm or the Blue Lagoon Water Park to make your family break one to remember! The area is also home to the Gwili Steam Railway – perfect for a day of relaxation.
The County Hotel is located in the centre of Bath meaning the majority of tourist attractions are within walking distance, making it a great place for a short break. The Holburne Museum is a stone’s throw away from the hotel and always has a wealth of interesting exhibitions to view. Burn Park in Bude, Cornwall, is great for both couples and families with its onsite swimming pool, clubhouse bar and tennis courts. The seaside town of Bude is great for a short break filled with costal exploring and sandy beaches. Burn Park is also within driving distance to the Plymouth Pavilion’s – perfect for a night of entertainment!
