Maintenance Fees As
with ownership of any property, there are annual running costs which
are based on rates, VAT, insurance, refuse collection, gardening, cleaning,
fresh linen, towels, repairs, maintenance and of course an improvement
programme to make your holidays even better, year after year. In order
to meet these costs, an annual charge is levied which is then used
during the year to fund the expenditure.
The management fees for 2006 are as follows:
Studio |
£311 |
1 Bedroom |
£322 |
2 Bedroom |
£342 |
3 Bedroom |
£361 |
Because this figure includes VAT and all utility fees, there is nothing to pay
on
arrival at the resort.
The Seasons Holiday Club Rules state that the annual fees will generally increase
by no more than inflation, which provides our members with reassurance that they
are not going to be faced with large unjustified increases each year. External
telephone calls are listed and charged on departure. You only pay for what you
use.
The management of all resorts is undertaken by Seasons Holidays plc, its subsidiary
management company or independent third party management contractors.

So when can I travel?
Each year, upon payment of your annual management fee, you will be
entitled to book seven nights accommodation. Annual management fees
will become due on March 1st each year. Members must take their annual
holiday entitlement between the first check-in date after March 1st
and the last checkout date before the end of the following February,
in accordance with Seasons Green for Go booking conditions.
For the first three years of membership, ‘Green for Go’ members
may request any week throughout the year at any Seasons member or
selected resort in luxury selfcatering one bedroom accommodation
(sleeping up
to four people), in accordance with the calendar.
All dates (including Easter, half terms and summer school holidays)
may be requested by ‘Green for Go’ members, subject to
availability, within 59 days of travel. All other dates may be requested
up to 12 months in advance. After your initial three year period, you
may continue to enjoy holidays throughout the year. After your initial
three year period right up until the end of the year 2069, you will
be able to request any week numbers which appear in the little green
boxes featured on the resort pages throughout this website.
Generally, week number 1 is the first week in January and 52 is usually
the last week of each calendar year. Reservations
will be able to confirm the colour band of any dates you request
each year, as set out
in this directory. It is not possible to save it up in order to
carry it forward for a longer holiday during the following year.
Selected resorts
In addition to their wholly owned Member resorts in the British
Isles and the Canary Islands, Seasons Holidays plc are constantly
expanding the Seasons holiday portfolio with specially selected
third-party owned resorts in sought after areas, in order to offer
their members more choice within their own club, but with no exchange
fees.
All these resorts, including Forest Hills, Alpinus and other high
quality destinations offered from time to time are carefully chosen
on the basis of their high standards, together with their strong
international exchange demand.
Affiliated resorts
There are more than 70 affiliated resorts within the Seasons portfolio.
Each one is owned by some of the world’s leading independent
resort developers. Provided you have been a Green for Go member
of Seasons for at least 12 months and you have enjoyed at least
one holiday at a Seasons Member or Seasons Selected resort, you
may request holidays at Seasons Affiliated resorts up to 12 months
in advance of the date you wish to travel. If your holiday is confirmed
you will be required to pay a small administration fee which is
currently just £20 per week confirmed. Green for Go Members
may request any week number which appears in the little green boxes
featured on relevant resort pages, until the end of 2069.
For example, if you wanted to travel to Durban in South Africa,
you would be able to request dates between May 1st and May 30th
or August 1st and 30th and so on. To query any availability within
the weeks designated as the ‘green’ period, please
ask Seasons Guest Relations or Membership Services and they will
be able to answer any questions you may have about your future
holiday entitlement.
Insurance cover
This cost forms part of the management fee and apart from the usual
buildings insurance cover, there is also cover for the cost of
providing you with alternative
accommodation in the event that your accommodation cannot be occupied because
of fire, flood or any of the other insured risks.
Complete confidence
Because Seasons Holidays plc is an English company, you can enjoy Seasons Membership
with confidence.
Sorry, no pets
All members are politely reminded that Seasons operate a strict 'no pets' policy
at all their resorts and affiliate resorts worldwide.
Smoking policy
Following discussions with the Seasons Owners Consultative Committee
(SOCC), the decision was taken that, as from February 1st 2006, there will
be a strict ‘no smoking’ policy in the clubhouses and restaurants
of all of Seasons English resorts. This is in line with the new no smoking laws
enforced in Scotland and the Republic of Ireland, which state that smoking is
not allowed in the workplace at Brunston Castle or Knocktopher Abbey, nor in
the Brunston Castle Golf clubhouse.
In addition, at Brunston Castle and Knocktopher, the legislation extends to the
resort reception areas and to the holiday cottages and apartments themselves.
This is because, for legal purposes, they are treated as enclosed places of work,
since housekeeping has to clean the accommodation every week. We will be placing
suitable ashtrays near the units at all affected resorts for members who wish
to smoke.
Check in times
Check in time is 4pm on your specified commencement day and you are requested
to check-out at 10am on the day of your departure.
Comprehensively equipped
Your holiday accommodation is fully furnished with all kitchen utensils, radio,
TV,
down to the sheets and towels. Simply bring yourselves and your clothes!
What if my holiday requirements change in the future?
If at any time you should require a larger unit or holidays in a different seasonal
band,
our Guest Relations department at your nearest Seasons resort will be able to
advise
and assist you and give a valuation on your current membership. Please note that
only one Green for Go week will be allowed against the cost of a new week.
