Khao Phra Thaeo National Park, Laem Phrom Thep (the best place to watch the fabulous sunsets!), or hire a boat and explore nearby islands. Further away: Phang Nga Bay (day trip with a fishing village built on stilts, mangrove shrouded river estuary and hundreds of limestone outcrops), yacht charters to other islands, daily ferries to the lovely Phi Phi islands.
