Perched like
a fairytale castle on top of one of the foothills of
the Sierra de Ronda range, Seasons at Forest Hills commands
unrivalled
views of the mountains to the north and the Mediterranean,
Gibraltar and the North African hills to the south. |

Just
45 minutes drive via the new motorway from Malaga airport,
the resort is conveniently situated some 4 km from the
nearest beach and only 6km from the pretty town of Estepona,
with its charming marina, promenade and beach.
During the summer, visitors enjoy up to 14 hours of sunshine a day,
while even in the mild winter months, there is plenty of warm sunshine
to encourage the abundant palm trees, citrus groves and brilliantly
coloured flowers.
Now even more easily accessible – thanks to the new motorway
which has opened from Malaga to Estepona – Western Andalucia
is a truly delightful area. Being less developed than the rest of
the Costa del Sol, it is famous for its many attractive whitewashed
mountain villages and mile after mile of uncrowded beaches, washed
by the clear Mediterranean Sea.
There’s a tremendous range of activities available, both on
and off the water, and wherever you go, you’ll find breathtaking
mountain and coastal views round every corner. |

Its
unique commanding position high on the hillside means
that wherever you are on the resort, you can enjoy
spectacular views in all directions.
Seasons at Forest Hills is a unique romantic holiday hideaway featuring
dramatic Andalucian architecture, and offering a range of facilities
for your holiday pleasure, including:

Accommodation
Because
Seasons at Forest Hills is built around a hilltop,
each apartment has its own very individual design,
size, shape and layout. There is a total of 44 apartments
in a choice of one and two bed, all equipped and furnished
to very high standards. |
|
| |
All
of the spacious, light and airy apartments are fully
tiled and have satellite television, VCR/DVD player,
hairdryer, iron and ironing board, washing machine, a
private patio
looking
out over lovely views and well equipped kitchens, including
fridge/freezer, oven and four ring hob.
Naturally, all bed linen, towels, glassware, cooking utensils, crockery
and cutlery are supplied, and each time you visit, you can be sure
that you will always be greeted by an apartment in immaculate condition. |

Exploring
the area
Just 10 minutes drive away, at nearby Estepona, there’s a delightful
promenade to stroll along, with a gently shelving pebble beach offering
safe bathing, plus windsurfing, waterskiing and jet skiing facilities
for more active visitors. The town also offers a wide selection of
bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes and budgets, plus
a large supermarket on the outskirts. |
|
| |
Meanwhile,
at the nearest sandy beach (4km), you’ll find a
cheerful beachside bar offering drinks and light meals
from Easter to the end of October (closed during winter).
One of the area’s most exciting developments is the Selwo National
Park about 10 minutes drive from the resort, where you can view many
wild animals including such big game as rhino, elephants, lions and
antelope roaming ‘free’ from the safety of one of the
park’s special viewing vehicles.
For those wanting to explore the Costa del Sol, Seasons at Forest
Hills is the ideal location and with so much to see and do, a hire
car – available from Reception – is recommended to make
the most of your stay. It should also be noted that there is no bus
service from Forest Hills.
Inland from the resort lie the famous ‘ white villages’,
such as Gaucin and Casares, where authentic Andalucia has remained
unspoilt for centuries. |
|
| |
Further
towards Malaga, the Costa offers a fascinating mixture
of famous resorts, such as the contrasting jetset sophistication
of Puerto Banus (25 minutes from Forest Hills) – with
its fabulous marina full of millionaire’s dream
yachts – and only a little further on, the narrow
streets of Marbella old town, hardly changed since the
16th century.
You’ll find that eating out anywhere on the Costa del Sol is
an experience not to be missed, ranging from small authentic tapas
bars to the top class international gourmet cuisine to be experienced
in the heart of Puerto Banus.
And if you’re feeling adventurous, be sure to take a trip to
historic Gibraltar, and maybe take advantage of the easy availability
of day cruises to North Africa.
