This
really is an all-season destination, where you can
enjoy skiing in the winter and water sports in the
summer. Close to the resort you’ll find sleigh
rides, downhill and crosscountry skiing, ice skating
and fishing. In the summer, take a canoe on the lake,
hike or fish from the resorts’ lakeside location.
Golf and horse riding can also be enjoyed nearby.
Both skiers and shopaholics love St. Sauveur, only 12 miles from
the resort, with its many boutiques and restaurants and along Rue
Principale are shops, cafes and terraces decorated with colourful
awnings and flowers. The town also boasts 22 ski trails with six
lifts. Mont Tremblant is another spectacular ski resort a short
drive away.
On a day trip to Montreal (45 minutes drive away), you can explore
the Olympic Stadium, the botanical garden, the amusement park complex
on Ile St. Helene and the casino.
