Who are Seasons Holidays?
Established in 1997, Seasons is an English
company which has grown into one of Europe’s leading holiday
ownership developers, with six resorts in the British Isles and
three in
Europe.
Membership of Seasons Holiday Club now stands at more than 23,000
British families, representing in excess of 70,000 people, for
whom the company arranges holidays each year. |
 Each
Seasons resort offers a choice of luxury self-catering accommodation
with up to three bedrooms. Seasons Holiday Club is a multi-destination
network, where the members collectively own villas, cottages
and apartments in the nine destinations.
Seasons is the only holiday ownership company in the world to
own resorts in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland and members
also enjoy holidays in the popular ‘sunshine’ locations
of the Algarve, Costa del Sol and Lanzarote.
In addition, through Seasons’ connections with other resort
developers, members also have access to a further 70 affiliated
destinations worldwide, including Australia, USA, Hawaii, India,
the Far East, and the Caribbean.
Seasons Holidays plc is also a long-term member of the industry’s
governing body, Organisation for Timeshare in Europe (OTE). Currently,
Seasons’ Marketing Director
Leslie McCann is on the board of the UK chapter – the Timeshare
Council.
While some holiday ownership developers have chosen to use
the services of offshore trustees, Seasons have taken the deliberate
decision to ensure that all of our
operations are based in Britain.
This includes our finance company,
GE Money Consumer Lending Limited, our accountants, Mudd and Company of Billericay
and our trustees Hutchinson & Co. Trust Company Limited - one
of Europe’s largest specialist trust companies.
 For our members’ protection, the trustees are responsible for holding all
funds until the membership certificates are issued as well as controlling the
numbers of weeks sold in order to prevent any given week from being sold more
than once. |
Seasons
Holidays plc is also a member of RDO, which is
the trade body dedicated to excellence and fair trading
in the European vacation ownership industry, whilst
promoting and fostering industry growth. As such, it
serves its members through public relations, legislative
lobbying, research and member and consumer relations
management.
