We would like to apologise to you for the lack of eNews at the end of October. For deeply personal reasons our editor was unable to provide copy last month.
However we do expect to send out a bumper edition packed with member stories and news at the end of November.
In the meantime it will soon be time to start planning next year’s holiday. To avoid disappointment please try not to leave it too late. Due to previous demand, we have significantly increased availability in the Lake District and Scotland in 2007. Clowance as you might have expected has booked up quickly for 2007 (more than 1000 main season holidays and more than 500 low season short breaks at Clowance were booked within a few days of reservations being opened); plans are well advanced to construct a further 42 lodges and apartments at Clowance, and this space will be made available to members upon completion. In the meantime if you are in the area and would like to be shown around and use the facilities call reservations and they will arrange an appointment for you.
Bargain UK short breaks are also filling up quickly this year over the Winter months, but if you act quickly there is still some good 4 night mid-week availability up until the end of February at most developments at incredible member only prices. Finally, our travel club advise us that there are currently some amazing return flight prices from many regional airports to the Algarve between now and the end of February, and we still have good availability. To help you secure the best flight price over the Winter months all NEW bookings scheduled to arrive between the beginning of December 2006 and the end of February 2007 can request ANY arrival day! The Algarve offers a completely new experience out of season; the weather is usually good and with a good deal of sunshine during the course of a week, there are great walks along the spectacular coastline and beaches, amazing golfing conditions and golf courses and the perfect place to relax and unwind perhaps as a post Xmas break. This is an ideal time of the year to enjoy a day trips to Seville and Lisbon.
Whilst the main changeover day will continue to be Sunday throughout 2007, we have managed to increase the number of apartments available in Portugal allocated to Thursday check-ins; we do appreciate that this increases the choice of flights for members from some regional airport.
